School rules & code of conduct

School Rules — RN Oxford Public School believes that discipline, punctuality and mutual respect are essential for a productive learning environment. Students are expected to attend school regularly, maintain proper behaviour, respect teachers and fellow students, care for school property and actively participate in all academic and co-curricular activities.

Code of Conduct — Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of behaviour both inside and outside the school campus. Courtesy, honesty, respect, discipline and responsibility form the foundation of the school's Code of Conduct.

Discipline Policy — Any act of misconduct, bullying, vandalism or behaviour that affects the school environment may result in appropriate disciplinary action.

Being present matters

Attendance Policy — Regular attendance is essential for academic success and overall development. Students should maintain the minimum attendance prescribed by the school and CBSE guidelines to be eligible for examinations and promotion.

Leave Rules — Leave should be availed only under genuine circumstances. Parents must submit a written leave application for planned absences, while medical leave should be supported by a valid medical certificate whenever required.

Examination Policy — The school follows the CBSE pattern of assessment. Students are expected to appear for all scheduled examinations, complete assignments on time and maintain academic integrity during assessments.

Everyday essentials

Uniform Policy — The school uniform reflects discipline, equality and the identity of RN Oxford. Students are expected to wear the prescribed uniform neatly on all working days. House and sports uniforms should be worn on designated days.

Library Rules — Students should handle books carefully, maintain silence and return borrowed books on time. Any loss or damage should be reported immediately and replaced as per library policy.

Transport Rules — Students using the school transport should follow all safety instructions, board and alight only at their designated stops, and respect the bus staff at all times.
